Minister: Russia ready to consider new oil projects in Iraq
SOCHI, Sep 30 (PRIME) -- Russian companies are ready to consider participation in new oil projects in Iraq, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Monday.
“Speaking of Iraq, it is a country with which we have good cooperation in the sphere of energy. It is implementing projects for development of fields, and these projects suppose expansion of participation of Russian companies,” he said, when asked whether Russian companies were ready to consider participation in new Iraqi projects.
“We are ready to consider projects that cover other fields, if these suggestions are mutually beneficial and attractive for investment,” he said.
